We're Walking!

The weekend before last we drove up to Palo Alto to visit the Hockings. Clay was a trooper while we made the five hour drive each way. It helped that we turned his carseat around to face forward now that he's a year old.


We had a great time with the Hockings, they made some great meals and we went on a hike/walk at the 'dish' in Palo Alto, it was a paved road that was very stroller friendly. Clay got tired of the stroller and liked the view from Dave's shoulders better. Dave's ears made great handles.

For the past three weeks Clay was taking a few steps but not totally confident about walking. On Sunday we stopped in San Luis Obispo on our way back home and we let Clay stretch his legs. It was official, we had a full-time walker! He's unstoppable.
