I titled this post 'ups and downs' since now that Clay is pulling up on things, he can get up but he gets stuck there or in the worst case scenario this happened. We're happily playing peek-a-boo under the kitchen table, which is his new favor place to explore. One minute he's standing, smiling and in a split second he has let go and doesn't know yet that he needs to bend his knees.
In Clay's baby book there's a place to write what baby's favorite activities are. I wrote jumping first and chasing the cats around the house is second. Eating yogurt is probably third. We rigged the jumper to a beam in the garage, it was a little high so we set a box under him.
Clay's first experience with a balloon at our friend Natalie's first birthday party. I think he likes it.
Now that Clay is standing I get a really cute greeting in the morning. It's 5:30 am so this helps to relieve the pain of getting up so early.

Hi Collins family! Love the video of Clay's laugh. It's the most precious sound in the world. I can't believe he is 9 months old. How are mom and dad doing? Jill
