It's almost time -- less than two weeks to go! I recently read that 98 percent of babies are born within a couple days of their due date. Mine is May 16th. We are certainly more than ready, the to-do list that was more than a page long was just taken off the fridge and placed in the baby book. The nursery is complete, except for a couple finishing touches. David has graciously taken the glider, baby blanket and boppie for a test drive. Who knew a boppie was also a great neck roll.

Meanwhile, my waistline has continued to expand. I'm growing out of my maternity clothes and the weather is just starting to warm up so good thing there are just a few days left to go. My last day at work was Friday and I plan to spend the next week resting and putting something on the walls of Marty's room. At my last doctor's appointment she said that if I went to 40 weeks I could have an eight or nine pound baby. I'm feeling fine, just a little achy which is probably due to being uncomfortable when I sleep - I turn more times than a rotisserie chicken! All in all, this pregnancy has been an easy one, except for these last few week. Thankfully, hormones will erase any memory of the discomfort. We're super excited about how our lives are going to change and will certainly keep you all updated!

Love the neckroll pillow - Paul did the same thing! You still look beautiful, of course. I outgrew my maternity clothes at the end, too. I think I was down to just a few shirts by the time Andrew was born. It was great to talk to you this week. Keep us posted on Marty's arrival!!
Yay! We are awaiting the wonderful news and the NAME too! Adorable picture of Dave---- whaita' be a trooper! We should make him wake up and turn every few minutes during the night to REALLY be bonding with you, Al! Ha! =)
nice bedtime photo of Icepick...clearly he's a stud and a baby was imminent. And he passes on the testosterone to the next generation...Toothpick!
Allison, you look gorgeous! You must still be sleeping. You will miss that.
But birthing is too amazing for words. No dvd or book can quite cover how amazing it will be, as the experience is uniquely yours, and so obviously a work of the Lord. You may also be at your most holy and devoted point during "hard labor" (though you can give Hypnobirthing a try and may fee no pain)...because I hear it's quite normal to continuously call out to God and tell the baby to "LISTEN TO JESUS! HE KNOWS THE WAY OUT!"
Prayer answered, by the way. Big boy - made it out just fine.
Will be dying to hear your birth story, so blog it when you can!
You can also call me anytime with questions. I don't sleep much!
MUCH LOVE & BLESSINGS!
Colton and I will be praying for you, Icepick & Marty (Toothpick)
