Mister, Mister

"It's a DUDE!" Dave exclaimed when the sonogram tech got Marty's butt print on the screen - We're having a BOY!!! A winter storm was hitting Colorado just as we left to head back to LA for the last available doctor's appointment on December 31st. Thankfully the roads were open just long enough for us to make it over the Rockies and through Utah. We're so so excited!

Marty is only about 10 inches long and could fit right in your hand, he weighs just 3/4 of a pound. Here's his profile - his head is on the right. At this appointment is was really fun to see a kick on the screen and actually feel the corresponding movement!

Apologies to those who were waiting and diligently checking back to find out the gender. Our wonderful friends Lee & Laura gave us a crib over Christmas and we were distracted with setting it up as soon as we got in the door. Can you feel the machismo?

And it's certainly clear from the outside that Marty's growing. It's a little scary to think that we're only just half way there and I'm alreay showing this much.

Now we can plan the nursery and think about what it'll be like to have a baby boy!
